future

I have thought about future for a long time but I still have no ideal with that. What can I do in the future? Be an English major student, it seems I can do many different kinds of careers. For instance, be a translator or an interpreter, be a teacher or a secretary, and be a business people or a seller. However, the careers are like the buildings what I can see on the top of mountain. They are all I can see and know but blurred. Maybe it does necessarily spend a lot of time finding the career which I really interested in.

"I have thought about future for a long time but I still have no ideal with that." ==> "I have thought about the future for a long time, but I still have no idea what I want to do with my life."

"Be an English major student," ==> "Because I am an English major,"

You can choose many different career paths, yes, if you learn English well enough to be able to sell yourself as someone who can use it well. I wouldn't think about translation or interpretation if I were you, though.

"be a business people or a seller." ==> "work in the business world."

"Maybe it does necessarily spend a lot of time finding the career which I really interested in." ==> "I guess I will have to spend a lot of time investing all these possible careers so that I can find out which one I am most interested in pursuing.

Yes, you certainly do need to find out what it means to work in all these different kinds of jobs. There are lots of ways of doing this. The best way is to get a job and see whether you like it. The second-best way is to talk to people who do these jobs and ask them what they do all day, how they like doing it, and what they need to know in order to do their work. The third-best way is to read about what these jobs entail. Finally, you can always pay attention to what people you meet are doing when you see them doing their jobs. You already know what teachers do because you've been in school for most of your life. You can always try to get a job at a cram school to see if you'd like to be a teacher. I doubt that you'd like it, though. It takes more of an imagination than you seem to have at the moment.
